Nomination: For her role in the 1979 mini-series
"Holocaust" which continues to inspire viewers more than two decades after its release
ROSEMARY HARRIS is one of the most highly acclaimed actresses of the theatre as well as the big screen and television. She has won many awards for her performances including: the Theatre World, the New York Drama League, and the Tony Award. She won the Golden Globe Award for her performance in the 1979 mini-series "HOLOCAUST" for which she is also receiving the 2005 Mother Teresa Award.
When asked to summarize her life’s achievements, Rosemary responded:“Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Actress.”
